1960年代にゼニス発表した洗練されたクロノグラフ。ステンレススチールのケースは幅狭のベゼル、ファセット付いたストレートラグとドレスモデルのような繊細さがうかがえます。古典的なスクエアプッシャーに、小さめの純正竜頭は品があります。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ。外周部にはタキメーターを配し、3時に45分積算計、9時にクロスラインを引いた永久秒針とクロノグラフとして充分な性能を備えています。文字盤がシンプルな分、ゼニスのシグネチャーであるスターロゴが、さりげなく存在感を増しています。搭載ムーブメントはユニバーサル社のcal.285をベースにゼニスがチューンナップしたCal.146D。この年式のゼニスのクロノグラフムーブメントを代表する名機です。当時の純正革ベルトとバックルを装備しています。

ケースは傷が少なく、良い状態です。ケースバックのヘアラインや刻印は当時のままを残しています。当時の革ベルトとバックルを備えていることからも、ワンオーナーものでさほど使われず保管されていたのではないでしょうか。ダイヤルはミントコンディションです。艶めきのあるサンレイダイヤルは水を張ったような質感が美しいままで、新品のようです。針やインデックスの状態も素晴らしく、ブルースチールの色味が良い差し色となっています。弊社にて分解掃除済みで、パワーリザーブ42時間を確認しています。

ビザールな時計を得意としたゼニスですが、造り込みの良さに定評があるためシンプルな時計を作らせても一級品です。ミニマルなだけにメーカーの意匠への微細なこだわりが詰め込まれた逸品。

A refined chronograph introduced by Zenith in the 1960s showcases sophistication. The stainless steel case features a narrow bezel, faceted straight lugs, and an elegance reminiscent of dress models. Classic square pushers and a small, genuine crown add a touch of sophistication. The silver sunray dial is adorned with an outer tachymeter, a 45-minute chronograph at 3 o'clock, and a perpetual second hand with cross lines at 9 o'clock, providing ample functionality for a chronograph. The simplicity of the dial enhances the presence of Zenith's signature star logo subtly. Powering the watch is the Zenith-tuned Cal.146D, based on Universal's cal.285, representing a renowned chronograph movement from Zenith in that era. It comes equipped with the original leather strap and buckle from that time.

The case is in excellent condition with minimal scratches, showcasing overall good condition. The case back hairlines and engravings are preserved as they were during its original time. The presence of the original leather strap and buckle suggests that it might have been a one-owner watch, sparingly used and well-preserved. The dial is in mint condition, with a glossy sunray texture that retains a water-like sheen, resembling a brand new piece. The hands and indices are in fantastic condition, and the blue steel accents add a pleasing contrast. Fully serviced by us, the watch confirms a power reserve of 42 hours.
