OMEGA DE VILLE Ref.166.033

COMMENT

COMMENT

How about an Omega from the heyday of mechanical watches? Crafted during the mature period before the Quartz Crisis, it boasts a timeless design that remains wearable even as the years go by. The balance of thickness and size is excellent, fitting well with the wrist sizes of Japanese individuals. The dial features an onyx-style design using black between pencil hands and indexes, offering excellent visibility and a crisp atmosphere. The metal bracelet comes with the original Omega component from that era.

This item stands out for its exceptional condition. While the dial is silver, it has a subtle patina, giving it a beautiful champagne color when combined with aging. With no stains or scratches, it allows you to enjoy a deep and charming hue, making it thoroughly appealing. The case shows no signs of scratches, presenting a clean and suitable condition for formal and suit styles, perfect for work. The movement is in excellent condition, with no past signs of water ingress. Professionally disassembled and cleaned by our experts, it has a confirmed power reserve of 48 hours.

With subtly curved dials and a dome-like crystal, this timepiece offers plenty of antique charm. Yet, being from a generation where mechanical performance was perfected, it seamlessly incorporates antique aesthetics into daily life.
