カルティエのサントスは、ブレスレットとベゼルにビスを使用した独自のデザインで知られており、同様のビスモチーフを持つ「LOVE コレクション」が1970年代から指輪としても展開されています。中でも「サントス オクタゴン」は、8角形のベゼルを特徴とし、製造終了に伴い、現在ではビンテージ市場で高い人気を誇るモデルです。

特に希少なバーガンディダイヤルは、一般的なホワイトローマダイヤルに対して珍しい存在で、近年では需要が非常に高まっています。カボションリューズにはダイヤルに合わせた赤い貴石がセットされ、デザイン全体に統一感を持たせています。搭載されているのは自動巻ムーブメントのCal.2671で、性能も申し分ありません。

1900年代、飛行士サントス・デュモンが飛行中に時刻を確認できるようカルティエにオーダーしたのが「サントス」の始まり。そのサントスのなかでも八角形型モデル「サントスオクタゴン」は、平面上にカットが入ったブレスが、腕を動かす度にキラキラと煌めきます。シンプルながらもエレガントな印象を与えるモデルです。

The Cartier Santos is renowned for its distinctive design, featuring screws on both the bracelet and bezel. A similar screw motif can be found in the "LOVE Collection," which has been available as rings since the 1970s. Among these, the "Santos Octagon" stands out with its eight-sided bezel. Discontinued and no longer in production, it has become highly sought-after in the vintage market.

Of particular note is the rare burgundy dial, which is a unique alternative to the more common white Roman numeral dial. In recent years, demand for this version has surged. The cabochon crown is adorned with a red gemstone that complements the dial, creating a cohesive design. The watch is powered by the automatic Cal. 2671 movement, ensuring excellent performance.

This piece is in exceptionally rare "no-crack" condition, with no signs of cracks on the enamel dial, and the dial itself is in superb shape. Original dials in such pristine condition are extremely rare. The hands retain their rich gold tone, beautifully preserved without losing their luster. The movement has been fully serviced by us, ensuring it's ready for immediate use.

As an LM-sized Santos Octagon, especially with the burgundy dial, this model is incredibly difficult to find, making it a highly valuable piece for collectors. The flat-cut bracelet sparkles beautifully in sunlight, exuding the presence of a luxurious bangle.
