Despite being a jewellery watch brand, Piaget has established a unique position as a manufacture. This timepiece features a solid 18-karat yellow gold decagonal case with a stepped bezel. The dial is made from malachite, a stone characterised by its distinctive stripes, with each piece exhibiting a unique pattern due to the natural variations of the gemstone. The only print on the dial is the manufacturer’s logo. During the era of the quartz crisis, there was a movement to revive mechanical watches, especially simple two-hand dress watches with manual winding.

The bracelet is original and in NEW OLD STOCK condition (unused). Unused items like this are valuable as they provide insight into the craftsmanship of the time. The sharp edges of the case, the mint malachite dial free from any cracks, and the bracelet in almost brand-new condition are truly impressive. The original seal from the time of sale remains affixed to the case back. There is no sign of age on the hands. As some collectors may choose not to wear the watch, we have refrained from conducting an overhaul. However, upon request, we can provide an overhaul with a standard warranty for proper functioning.
