主に1980年代に製造された8角形のベゼルが特徴的なサントスオクタゴンは、1990年頃に製造が終了しており、ヴィンテージならではの意匠です。ダイヤルはポーセリンのようなラッカーホワイトで、ミニッツトラック、ローマインデックス、サークルラインのコンビネーションが美しいです。ブルースチールのバトン針と、カボションリューズの貴石の色味がマッチしており、良いポイントカラーとなっています。自動巻ムーブメントであるCal.2671を搭載しています。

ベゼルに少し擦り傷がありますが、ケース全体的に傷が見られず、清潔感あふれるコンディションです。ダイヤルは非常に整った状態を保っており、厳密に確認すると小さなクラックが見られますが、気にならない程度に抑えられています。ブルースチールの針は美しい輝きを保っています。インデックスも剥がれや欠けがなく、非常に良好なコンディションです。弊社にて分解清掃済みですので、安心してご使用いただけます。

1900年代、飛行士サントス・デュモンが飛行中に時刻を確認できるようカルティエにオーダーしたのが「サントス」の始まり。そのサントスのなかでも八角形型モデル「サントスオクタゴン」は、平面上にカットが入ったブレスが、腕を動かす度にキラキラと煌めきます。シンプルながらもエレガントな印象を与えるモデルです。

The Santos Octagon, distinguished by its signature eight-sided bezel, was primarily produced during the 1980s and discontinued around 1990—making it a design now exclusively available on the vintage market. The dial features a lacquered white finish reminiscent of porcelain, beautifully accented by a combination of a railway minute track, Roman numerals, and a circular chapter ring. The blued steel baton hands are perfectly complemented by the gemstone cabochon on the crown, adding a refined touch of color. This model is powered by the automatic Caliber 2671, offering both mechanical charm and practical convenience.

While the bezel shows minor surface scuffing, the rest of the case remains in clean and well-preserved condition, exuding a sense of clarity and refinement. The dial is exceptionally well-balanced, with only a subtle hairline crack visible under close inspection—barely noticeable and unobtrusive. The blued steel hands retain their vivid sheen, and the printed indexes show no signs of flaking or damage. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop for reliable, worry-free use.
