LEMANIA Cal.3000 Batman

COMMENT

COMMENT

Lemania, renowned for its superb design and dedicated following, features a stainless steel case with a waterproof screw-back, exemplifying both durability and elegance. The dial boasts a matte white electroplated finish that merges visibility with a touch of luxury. It incorporates Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, while bullet indices mark the other hours. The applied Lemania logo adds a stylish accent, and the luminous pencil hands ensure legibility. The small seconds are slightly offset towards the center to avoid interference with the indices.

The watch is powered by Lemania’s own Cal. 3000 movement, which is a notch above the later Cal. 3100 due to its use of a hairspring with a coiled hairspring. The movement's finish is of high quality, featuring a red gold plating. Additionally, the movement includes a unique golden device protruding from the regulating screw to prevent the hairspring from being displaced in case of impact, a feature also found in Omega’s renowned Cal. 321.

The case retains its original appearance with some signs of wear, yet remains in overall very good condition. The dial has aged to a subtle beige, adding a vintage charm while maintaining an excellent state without noticeable dirt or damage.

This Lemania manual-winding model combines a simple yet elegant design suitable for business settings with highly regarded movement technology. It offers the practicality for everyday use while exuding the luxury typical of Lemania's esteemed reputation.

By the 1940s, the company had produced military watches bearing its name and supplied timepieces to the British and Swedish armed forces. Its chronographs were adopted by all branches of the British military, reflecting their reliability. Additionally, Lemania has been a key movement supplier for brands such as Omega since 1932.
