1960年代初頭から展開されたRef.1500は、ロレックスのフラッグシップであるデイトジャストと同じCal.1570を搭載しながら、ケース径をやや小ぶりに抑えたバランスの良いモデルです。ブラックミラーにギルトレターが浮かぶダイヤルは、ひときわ艶やかで、クラシックロレックスの魅力を端的に伝えます。立体的に面取りされたバーインデックスは、深みのあるダイヤル上でも存在感を放っています。防水仕様のオイスターケースにスムースベゼルを組み合わせ、純正のリベットブレスレットRef.7205（クラスプデイト70/2、エンドリンク60）が装備されています。

Introduced in the early 1960s, the Ref. 1500 is a well-balanced model that shares the flagship Datejust's Cal. 1570 movement but features a slightly more compact case diameter. The glossy black mirror dial with gilt lettering exudes a remarkable richness, embodying the essence of classic Rolex aesthetics. The faceted bar indexes stand out with striking dimensionality, even against the depth of the dial. The waterproof Oyster case is paired with a smooth bezel, and the watch is fitted with a genuine Rolex rivet bracelet Ref. 7205 (clasp dated 70/2, end links 60).

The case retains its original thickness and bold form, showing only faint marks from storage, with no significant wear. The black mirror dial remains in excellent condition, with the reflective surface fully preserved and returning light beautifully from every angle. The luminous dots have aged to a warm beige hue, adding a unified and subdued vintage charm. The indexes show minimal oxidation, and while the hands exhibit slight patina, they harmonize well with the overall appearance. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.
