AUDEMARS PIGUET BAMBOO COBRA

COMMENT

COMMENT

This dress watch from Audemars Piguet, produced in the 1980s, features a striking geometric case design that captures the brand’s pursuit of harmony between innovation and tradition. The solid 18k gold case draws inspiration from the maison’s iconic Bamboo and Cobra models, while this particular piece is fitted with a finely detailed integral bracelet featuring an intricate woven texture. The matte blue dial, paired with slim bar indexes and pencil hands, conveys a sense of understated luxury and elegance.

The case shows no notable scratches, and the hallmarks remain sharp and clearly defined. The dial is in mint condition, showing no signs of aging, with hands and indexes retaining their original luster and texture. The bracelet shows minimal signs of wear, maintaining its supple feel and rich gold sheen. Fully disassembled and professionally serviced by our workshop.

This timepiece exemplifies Audemars Piguet’s refined aesthetic vision, blurring the lines between high watchmaking and jewelry craftsmanship. Every detail reflects an exceptional level of artisanal execution. Unlike sports-oriented models, this watch embraces a different design language—one that blends architectural beauty with quiet sophistication, making it both visually distinctive and effortlessly wearable. A rare and refined piece that showcases the multifaceted identity of Audemars Piguet.

BRAND

Founded in Le Brassus in Switzerland’s Vallée de Joux, Audemars Piguet remains one of the oldest and most respected manufacturers still in the hands of its founding families. The brand has long been a leader in the development of ultra-complicated timepieces and rose to global prominence with the introduction of the Royal Oak, which redefined the luxury sports watch category. Today, alongside Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet is regarded as one of the “Holy Trinity” of Swiss watchmaking.
