COMMENT

ダイヤルは繊細な縦方向のテクスチャが施されたホワイトカラーで、緩やかに盛り上がるボンベ型。インデックスは飛びアラビア仕様で1950年代らしい面持ちですが、すべてに夜光塗料が塗布されており、1940年代のミリタリーライクな機能性も併せ持ちます。ケースはラグとの接合部を持たない一体型構造で、曲線を活かした滑らかなフォルム。スクリューバックには六つツメが配されており、防水性能を追求し始めた当時のロンジンの設計思想がよく表れています。アーカイブが付属します。

ケースは目立つ傷のないミントコンディションで、シェイプの美しさとプロポーションの完成度を高く維持しています。ケースバックはオリジナルのヘアライン仕上げが残存。使用感の出やすいリューズはきれいな状態を保ち、機能性・外観の両面で申し分のない仕上がりです。ダイヤルは正面からは経年変化が見られませんが、角度をつけることでプツプツとした質感の変化が表れます。ブルースチール針は美しい青みをしっかりと保ち、ルミナスは均一なエイジングが見られ、自然なベージュカラーがヴィンテージらしい趣を添えています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This early 1950s Longines timepiece hails from the transitional period just before the introduction of the brand’s iconic winged hourglass logo on the dial. The white dial features a delicately textured vertical finish and a gentle bombe curvature that adds depth to its refined appearance. Arabic numerals are applied in an alternating “explorer-style” layout, all filled with luminous material—blending the 1950s dress aesthetic with the utilitarian functionality reminiscent of 1940s military watches. The oversized 35mm case is a seamless, integrated-lug design, defined by smooth contours and a screw-down case back with six notches—reflecting Longines’ early pursuit of water resistance.

The case remains in superb mint condition, with its original shape and proportions beautifully preserved. The case back retains its original hairline finish, and the crown—often prone to wear—remains clean and sharp. While the dial shows no noticeable aging from the front, a subtle granularity becomes apparent under angled light. The blued steel hands retain a vivid blue tone, while the luminous material has aged uniformly into a warm beige, imparting a vintage charm. Fully disassembled and cleaned by our workshop.
