日常使いしやすい自動巻モデルのスピードマスター。ローズゴールドとステンレスのコンビモデルで、ケースは39mm径。手巻きのムーンウォッチに比べて約3mm小さく、日常使いに適しています。特徴的なツイストラグやタキメーターをデザインしたベゼルなど、意匠を引き継いでいます。ダイヤルはマットブラック。インダイヤルはベゼルに合わせたローズゴールドカラー。オメガ純正のバックルが装備されています。

ケースに目立った傷や打痕はなく、オメガならではのシェイプの良さが堪能できます。ブラックダイヤルには劣化は見当たりません。過去に入水歴もなく、ミントコンディションです。針やインデックスは上面のメッキにくすみがなく、清潔感に溢れています。ルミナスは美しいベージュカラーに変化しています。ローズゴールドとの色使いが調和し、評価の高いエイジングです。当店にて分解掃除済みで、45時間のパワーリザーブを確認しています。自動巻きの性能も申し分ありません。

今でこそ「Speedmasterイコール宇宙」という図式がすぐに浮かび上がりますが、当時は宇宙とは全く関係のない、純粋なモータースポーツ用の時計として誕生。また、スピードマスターは、ダイヤルではなく外周ベゼルにタキメーターを表示した世界で初めての時計と言われています。1959年、スピードマスターはマイナーチェンジをします。ベゼルがアルミニウムの黒色ベースとなり、針の形状がアロー針からアルファ針に変更されたことで、より視認性が高まっています。NASAは宇宙での過酷な環境にも耐えうる丈夫なクロノグラフを探しており、名だたる強豪に勝ったスピードマスターを公式時計として採用。その後1969年人類初の月面着陸の際、スピードマスターを着用していたことは有名な話。

A versatile everyday automatic model in the Speedmaster lineup, this timepiece combines rose gold and stainless steel in a 39mm diameter case. It is approximately 3mm smaller than the hand-wound Moonwatch, making it well-suited for daily wear. The distinctive twisted lugs and the bezel with a designed tachymeter are inherited from the iconic Speedmaster design. The dial is matte black, and the sub-dials complement the rose gold color of the bezel. The watch features an Omega genuine buckle.

The case shows no noticeable scratches or dents, allowing you to appreciate Omega's distinctive design aesthetics. The black dial exhibits no signs of aging, and the watch is in mint condition with no history of water immersion. The hands and indices have no visible dullness on the upper surface, radiating cleanliness. The luminous material has transformed into a beautiful beige color, harmonizing well with the rose gold accents. It has been disassembled and cleaned by our shop, and a 45-hour power reserve has been confirmed. The automatic movement performs admirably.

While the Speedmaster typically exudes a robust aura, the vintage coloring and leather band provide a classical impression. If pairing with daily suits is a consideration, the robust and easy-to-handle Reduced model would be an excellent choice.

While the Speedmaster is now synonymous with space exploration, it was originally conceived as a purely motorsports-focused timepiece with no connection to space. The Speedmaster was the world's first watch to display a tachymeter on the external bezel instead of the dial. In 1959, the Speedmaster underwent a minor change, featuring a black aluminum bezel base and changing from arrow hands to alpha hands, enhancing visibility. NASA sought a robust chronograph capable of withstanding the harsh conditions of space, and the Speedmaster emerged victorious, becoming the official watch for space missions. Its famous moment came in 1969 when it was worn during the first moon landing, solidifying its place in history.
