1896年創業のワイラー。1968年に発表された同社を代表するモデル、ジャンボスターです。防水時計として販売されたライフガードシリーズの一つで、文字盤の660は200メートル＝660フィート防水を意味します。ケースはEPSA製のコンプレッサーケースを採用しており、裏蓋は二重蓋のような構造となっています。

ダイヤルはきめの細かいマットブラック、3 時と 9 時のインダイヤルはホワイトのリバースパンダです。時分針はアローとバトンで、トリチウムを乗せています。インデックスは凸型でセンターに黒色を用いています。また、スモールセコンドはロザンジュ、積算形針はブルースチールのバトンと各用途で針を変えた手の込んだ造りです。10時の竜頭からインナーベゼルを操作します。ブレスレットは社外品になります。

ケースは素晴らしいコンディションです。エッジに崩れがなく、当時のプロポーションです。ダイアルはミントコンディションです。ダイバーモデルですが、入水の形跡がなく、ルミナスは美しいベージュカラーのままです。ダイヤルの特徴的なレッドプリントは剥がれなく残っており、瑞々しさを感じます。弊社にて分解掃除済みでパワーリザーブ48時間以上を確認しています。

Valjoux 72を搭載したコンプレッサーケースのダイバークロノ。機能と搭載された機械、そして気の利いた意匠を考慮するとポテンシャルを感じる一本です。

＜Wyler（ワイラー）＞は1896年にポールワイラーによって設立されたウォッチメーカー。1927年に衝撃に強い「インカフレックステンプ」を発明し、 1932年に特許を取得しました。1993年にビンダグループに買収され、 Wyler-Vettaに改名している。

Founded in 1896, Wyler presents the iconic JumboStar, a model introduced in 1968 that became one of the hallmark pieces for the brand. As part of the Lifeguard series marketed as a waterproof watch, the 660 on the dial signifies its impressive water resistance of 200 meters, equivalent to 660 feet. The case features the EPSA Compressor case, known for its innovative design, with a dual-layered case back.

The finely textured matte black dial showcases a reverse panda design at 3 and 9 o'clock. The hour and minute hands, adorned with tritium, exhibit arrow and baton shapes, respectively. The convex-shaped indexes utilize black at the center. The small seconds feature a sunburst pattern, and the accumulating hands are crafted with blue steel batons, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail. The inner bezel is operated from the crown at 10 o'clock, and the bracelet is an aftermarket addition.

The case is in excellent condition, maintaining its original proportions without any edge degradation. The dial is in mint condition, displaying no signs of water intrusion despite being a diver's model, with the luminous material retaining its beautiful beige hue. The distinctive red print on the dial remains intact, exuding a vibrant feel. The watch has undergone disassembly and cleaning at our facility, ensuring a power reserve of over 48 hours.

This Compressor case diver's chronograph, powered by the Valjoux 72 movement, combines functionality, mechanical prowess, and thoughtful design elements, making it a timepiece with significant potential.

BRAND

Wyler, established in 1896 by Paul Wyler, gained recognition in 1927 for inventing the shock-resistant "Incaflex balance wheel" and securing a patent for it in 1932. In 1993, the brand was acquired by the Binda Group, leading to a renaming as Wyler-Vetta.
