ステンレススチールのラージカラトラバケース。ギルトのミニッツトラックとスモールセコンドの印字はメッキのように光を反射し、キリッとした顔立ちを作り上げています。インデックスはルミナスにオールアラビアでミリタリーライクです。針は根本がくびれたペンシルハンド、梨地仕上げの色味が特徴的でセンターにルミナスを配してします。

状態について、ケースは小傷が少なく研磨歴を感じさせません。ラグのエッジやベゼルの柔らかなシェイプなど、剛柔備わるケースのオリジナルプロポーションを保っています。ダイアルは、年式を考えるとミラーのエイジングが最低限です。キワに多少のポツポツとした経年変化が確認できますが、肉眼では一切気になりません。サブダイアルはパーフェクトです。ルミナスは程よく焼け、好ましい色をしています。針は程よくエイジングを受けた、まずまずの状態です。ビデオを掲載しています。

チェコスロバキア軍官給品のラージクッションなど、ジャンボケースを比較的多く製造したエテルナですが、ジャンボカラトラバが希少なお品です。搭載キャリバー852は直径が30ｍｍを超える大きなもので、当時としては異色の存在でした。その屈強な造り込みと、大きなダイアルでもスモールセコンドの位置が中心に寄りすぎず、バランス良く配置できることで、近年再評価されているムーブメントです。当店にて整備済みでパワーリザーブ51時間、日差は+10秒と好調に動いています。ご購入後すぐご使用いただけます。

Eterna, known for producing a relatively large number of jumbo cases, including those supplied to Czechoslovakian military officers, presents this rare gem, the Jumbo Calatrava. Compared to the large cushion cases, the Jumbo Calatrava boasts a slightly larger dial diameter by about 1mm, adding to its impressive presence. The gilt minute track and small seconds markings reflect light like plating, creating a sharp profile. The luminescent Arabic indices lend a military-like touch. The hands feature tapered pencil style with a frosted finish and luminescent filling at the center.

Regarding its condition, the case shows minimal scratches and exhibits no signs of significant polishing. The original proportions of the case, including the soft shape of the lug edges and bezel, remain intact. Considering its age, the dial aging is minimal, with only slight spotting around the edges, barely noticeable to the naked eye. The sub-dials are in perfect condition, with evenly aged luminescent material. The hands show moderate aging, contributing to its character. We have provided a video for inspection.

The caliber 852, with a diameter exceeding 30mm, was a remarkable feat for its time. Its robust construction and ability to maintain balance even with a large dial have led to its recent reappraisal.
