レクタンギュラーケースの手巻きオメガ。ダイアルは横ヘアラインのホワイトとカッパーのツートンフェイスが個性的です。スモールセコンドに合わせるように、インデックスの3,9,12は大きくバランス良く配されています。リーフ型のブルースチール針はクラシカルです。ケースは腕に沿うように僅かに湾曲した造りで、腕を覆うような装着感の良さが魅力です。ラグはバネ棒ではないはめ殺し式で、当店オリジナルのカーフバンドが装着します。

ケースは均一なファセットを残し、プロポーションに優れています。傷が少なく、丸みを帯びた箇所、エッジのある箇所との対比が美しいです。 ダイアルについて、内側のホワイトは綺麗な状態を保っています。対して外側のカッパーはエイジングが見受けられます。黒潰れなど雰囲気を損なうものではなく、表情豊かなものとなりヴィンテージテイストが味わえます。写真ですと深みのあるカッパーの色味が再現できませんでしたので、ビデオを追加いたしました。是非ご確認ください。ブルースチールの針は根元がややフェードしています。肉眼では気になりません。年式を考慮しますと、とても状態の良いものだと思います。

キャリバーT17は、オメガの角型を支えたムーブメントで、バイメタルテンプに巻上ヒゲと当時の技術の粋を集めて制作されています。防塵用の二重ケースは角型の隙間ができやすい欠点への対策として積極的に行われた手法です。戦車のようにがっちりとしたケースで存在感のあるレクタンです。

A manual-winding Omega with a rectangular case. The dial features horizontal hairline patterns in white and copper, creating a distinctive two-tone face. To complement the small seconds, the indexes at 3, 9, and 12 are generously sized and well-balanced. The leaf-shaped blue steel hands add a classical touch. The case has a slightly curved design that follows the wrist, providing a comfortable and enveloping wear experience. The lugs are of the friction-fit type, not using spring bars, and a custom calf band from our shop is fitted.

The case maintains uniform facets, exhibiting excellent proportions. With minimal scratches and a beautiful interplay between curved and edged areas, the case showcases an attractive contrast. Regarding the dial, the inner white portion remains in pristine condition. On the other hand, the outer copper area shows signs of aging. However, it enhances the vintage aesthetic without compromising the overall appeal. Due to limitations in photo reproduction, the rich copper color might not be fully captured, so we have added a video for your reference. Please take a look. The blue steel hands show a slight fade at the base, which is inconspicuous to the naked eye. Considering its age, the watch is in remarkable condition.

The Caliber T17 movement supported Omega's angular designs, incorporating a bimetallic balance and other cutting-edge technologies of its time. The double case for dust protection was a proactive measure to address the potential gaps in angular cases. The rectangular case, resembling a robust tank, gives the watch a distinctive presence.
