美しいブラックギルトの質感と立体的なダイヤル造形が際立つコンステレーションです。ミニッツやクロスラインはすべてパイパンの内側に収められ、外周部は多面カットのインデックスが放つ華やかな輝きを際立たせています。ドーフィンハンドや秒針までもが外周部に干渉せず、洗練されたレイアウトを実現。リューズはオリジナルの12角カット仕様で、パイパンダイヤルのデザインと調和を成しています。

ムーブメントはクロノメーター規格のCal.561を搭載。カレンダー早送り機構（21時から1時の間で針を往復させて操作）が備わり、5姿勢および温度調整を経た精度の高い機械です。歴代の500系自動巻きムーブメントを改良した完成度の高い仕様で、日常的な実用性にも優れています。

ケースはほとんど傷が見られず、広い鏡面仕上げが艶やかな金属光沢を放ちます。華やかさとラグジュアリーな存在感がコンステレーションらしさを強調。ダイヤルは表面にわずかな隆起があるものの、ミラーの質感を良好に保持しています。外周は角度により艶を強く放ち、インデックスも当時の鏡面仕上げを残しながら煌めきを保っています。針はエイジングにより鏡面仕上げに変化が見られますが、光を鮮明に反射し、使い込まれた雰囲気はありません。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

デイト機能を備えたクロノメーター仕様は、オメガのフラッグシップにふさわしい緻密な造りであり、デザインと機能性を兼ね備えた代表的存在といえます。この世代のオメガは自動巻き効率が優れているため、手巻きを必要とする場面はほとんどありません。オリジナルの竜頭は意匠性を優先しており、操作感がやや重く感じられることがありますが、当時の設計に基づく仕様であり問題はありません。

This Constellation stands out for the striking texture of its black gilt dial and the depth of its sculpted design. The minute track and crosshair remain contained within the pie-pan recess, allowing the faceted indexes around the perimeter to radiate their brilliance. Neither the dauphine hands nor the seconds hand extend into the raised edge, resulting in a clean and refined layout. The original twelve-sided crown further complements the distinctive geometry of the pie-pan dial.

Inside beats the chronometer-rated Cal. 561, equipped with a semi-quickset calendar (operated by moving the hands back and forth between 9 PM and 1 AM). Adjusted for five positions and temperature, it represents a highly precise caliber refined from earlier 500-series automatics. Its design ensures both durability and excellent usability in everyday wear.

The case shows virtually no signs of wear, its wide polished surfaces reflecting a lustrous brilliance. This radiance underscores the Constellation’s signature sense of luxury. The dial, though showing minor surface relief from aging, retains its mirror-like sheen. The outer ring reflects light strongly depending on angle, while the indexes preserve their original polish and sparkle vividly. The hands display subtle aging, their surfaces having softened to a mirror finish, yet they continue to reflect light clearly without appearing worn. Serviced and disassembled by our watchmaker.

With its chronometer-grade movement and practical date function, this Constellation epitomizes Omega’s flagship status—uniting meticulous construction with functional elegance. The automatic winding system of this generation is highly efficient, minimizing the need for manual winding. While the original crown prioritizes aesthetics and may feel slightly firm in operation, it functions exactly as intended under its original design.
