縦ヘアラインのグレーダイアルがモダンなシーマスターデビル。中央が膨らんだボンベダイアルで、一見無機質なフェイスにも柔らかみが感じられます。インデックスやペンシルハンドの針は、細めで繊細な印象を受けます。レターやミニッツはホワイトプリント、角度によってゴースト化するコンセプチュアルな配色です。1960年初頭にデビューしたデビルはワンピースケースを採用した、シーマスターからの派生モデルでした。通常のシーマスターに比べると細くて繊細なバー状のラグは、先端で内側に向けて切り落とされ上品さをプラスしています。ケースの縁ギリギリまでとられた文字盤面積が大きく、実際のサイズより時計が大きく見えます。ブレスレットはオメガ純正のジュビリーです。見た目のユニークさだけでなく、快適なつけ心地が魅力です。

ケースとブレスレットは当店でオリジナル通りに仕上げています。ラグのエッジにある小さな面やケースサイドの段を忠実に再現しており、新品のような美しさです。ダイアルはミントコンディションです。レターのホワイトプリントには劣化がなく、50年以上の経年を感じさせません。インデックスやアプライドのオメガロゴはキラキラと輝く大変美しい状態を維持しています。針は厳正に判断しますと、若干のエイジングが確認できます。肉眼では一切気になるようなものではなく、ヴィンテージウォッチをモダンに着けこなせます。

＜DE VILLE＞はフランス語で「街角」を意味します。その名に相応しく、都会的でタウンユースのしやすい小洒落た雰囲気を持っています。コンステレーションとは違った、薄型だがドレスウオッチになり過ぎない、分別をわきまえた感じの良さが魅力的な1本です。コンディションは非常に良いですが、お求めやすい価格もおすすめする理由のひとつです。

The modern Seamaster DeVille boasts a vertical hairline gray dial with a central bulging bombe dial, introducing a soft touch to its seemingly austere face. The slender indexes and pencil hands contribute to an impression of delicacy and refinement. The white print on the letters and minutes, coupled with the conceptual color scheme that may appear ghostly at certain angles, adds a unique flair. The DeVille made its debut in the early 1960s as a derivative model from the Seamaster, featuring a one-piece case. The slim and delicate bar-shaped lugs, cut inward at the tips, enhance its elegance compared to the regular Seamaster. The dial's surface area extends almost to the edge of the case, creating an illusion of a larger watch than its actual size. The bracelet is the original Omega Jubilee, providing both a unique appearance and comfortable wear.

Both the case and bracelet have been meticulously restored to their original specifications in our shop. The small surfaces on the lug edges and the steps on the case side are faithfully reproduced, resulting in a beauty akin to a new piece. The dial is in mint condition, with no signs of aging on the white print of the letters, maintaining a fresh look despite over 50 years of use. The indexes and applied Omega logo sparkle beautifully and remain in a very attractive condition. While there is slight aging on the hands upon close inspection, it is negligible to the naked eye, allowing you to effortlessly integrate this vintage watch into modern attire.

The French phrase "DE VILLE" translates to "city corner." True to its name, this timepiece exudes a sophisticated and urban-friendly atmosphere, making it easy to incorporate into town use. Unlike the Constellation, it strikes a balance by being slim yet not overly dressy, exuding a discerning sense of charm. The watch is in excellent condition, and its accessible price adds to its appeal.
