シーマスターの完成系とも言えるRef.166.010のノンデイトモデルRef.165.010です。ヴィンテージらしい中央が隆起したダイヤルにバーインデックス、ドルフィンハンドとクラシックな要素が組み合わされています。ケースは薄型に改良され、日本人の腕サイズに良く合います。ケースはメッキの難しいステンレスに厚く金を張った金張り。ブレスレットはビーズオブライス、Ref.8220とエンドリンク11を装備しています。

状態の良さが際立つお品です。文字盤はシルバーですが、ほんのりと焼けが入っております。エイジングも合わせてのシャンパンカラーが美しいです。ケースは小傷のみで、フォーマル、スーツスタイルに合わせて仕事で使うことに最適な清潔感のあるコンディションです。ムーブメントは過去に入水確認できない素晴らしいコンディションです。ブレスレットは固定リンク6-9個で、発売当時のテーパーです。弊社にて分解掃除済みでパワーリザーブ46時間を確認しています。

1960年代に入り日付を搭載したものが基本となり、シーマスター二型ケースモデルのノンデイトモデルであるRef.14779、Ref.165.010は極めて生産数が少ないです。特に後年である6桁リファレンスのこちら、金張りモデルは弊社でも初の取り扱いです。ノンデイト自動巻、精度も素晴らしく、希少かつ最も扱いやすいヴィンテージウォッチの一つでしょう。

The Ref.165.010, a non-date model and what can be considered as the epitome of the Seamaster, represents the perfected version of the Ref.166.010. The vintage charm is evident in the raised center dial, bar indices, dauphine hands, and classic elements combined seamlessly. The case has been improved to a thinner profile, fitting well with the wrist size of the Japanese. It features a stainless steel case with a challenging gold plating process applied thickly. The bracelet is equipped with Beads of Rice, Ref.8220, and End Link 11.

This piece stands out due to its exceptional condition. The silver dial, slightly aged with a champagne color, is beautiful. The case has minimal scratches, making it ideal for formal occasions and suit styles, presenting a clean and polished appearance. The movement is in excellent condition, with no signs of water ingress found in past inspections. The bracelet has fixed links ranging from 6 to 9, maintaining the taper from the time of release. It has been disassembled, cleaned by our company, and a power reserve of 46 hours has been confirmed.

In the 1960s, watches with date functions became standard, and non-date models of the Seamaster with the second-type case like Ref.14779 and Ref.165.010 are exceptionally rare. This 6-digit reference, particularly in its later years, is a gold-plated model, marking the first time our company has handled such a piece. As a non-date automatic watch, it offers remarkable accuracy and is one of the rarest and most user-friendly vintage watches.
