バブルバックの最終型、通称セミバブル。その形状はセミではなくしっかりケースバックが泡のように膨らんでいます。1950年代に一時期だけ製作されていた、ねじ込みリューズではないオイスター構造を持つ「スーパーオイスターケース」を採用した希少なモデルです。傾斜の付いたスポーティーで精緻なつくりのエンジンターンドベゼルを装備しています。フェイスはリーフハンドとブルースチール針、チャプターリングには目の細かいミニッツでヴィンテージらしいです。マットな質感のアイボリーカラーのダイヤルに3.6.9のアプライドインデックスがスポーティな面持ち。ケースのサイズは34.3mmと小さいように見えるかもしれませんが、実際にはバブルバックの厚みが加わりますから、手首に大きな存在感を与えます。

ケースはバブルバックの重厚なシェイプが残っています。注目するべきポイントはベゼルです。エンジンターンドの細かい溝はエッジがしっかり立っており、過度な使用歴を感じさせません。ホワイトダイヤルはエイジングがうっすらと現れています。針が永く留まっていたことによる針焼けが確認できます。インデックスや針はまずまずの経年変化です。ブルースチール針は色抜けなく、深みのある青色が美しいです。

The final iteration of the Bubble Back, commonly known as the Semi-Bubble. Its distinctive shape features a case back that swells like a bubble, not semi, but solid. This rare model, produced only for a brief period in the 1950s, adopts the "Super Oyster Case," which doesn't have a screw-down crown, adding a unique touch to its Oyster structure. It boasts a sporty and sophisticated sloped engine-turned bezel. The face showcases leaf hands, blue steel needles, and a chapter ring with finely detailed minutes, embodying a vintage aesthetic. The matte-textured ivory-colored dial, adorned with applied indices at 3, 6, and 9, exudes a sporty demeanor. While the case may appear small at 34.3mm, the thickness of the Bubble Back adds a substantial presence on the wrist.

The case retains the robust shape characteristic of the Bubble Back. The noteworthy feature is the bezel. The fine grooves of the engine-turned design have well-defined edges, not betraying excessive signs of wear. The white dial shows subtle signs of aging. Needle burn is evident due to prolonged needle retention. The indices and needles exhibit moderate signs of aging. The blue steel needles maintain their vibrant, deep blue color without any fading.
