The barrel-shaped C-line case, designed by Gerald Genta in the late 1970s, exudes a sophisticated impression and was quite prevalent around 1970. In contrast to the later models with a glass-type windshield, the earlier models feature a dome-shaped windshield, allowing enthusiasts to savor a vintage taste. The flat, mirror-finished smooth bezel contrasts with the hairline-finished case, giving it a sporty look. The exceptional design beautifully expresses the luxurious 18-carat solid gold material in a sporty form. The dial has a subtle sunray finish, avoiding an overly embellished appearance. The center position of the bar indexes and pencil hands is coated in black, enhancing readability. The calendar frame is intricately cut, leaving no room for oversight in the finer details.

The case boasts well-proportioned dimensions, and the mirrored chamfer on the edge of the lugs is neatly preserved. The dial is in beautiful condition, showing no signs of past water damage.
