1969年製のジュネーブ。ブルーダイヤルを搭載した正統派ドレスウォッチです。当時としては先進性を感じさせるブルーダイヤルに、清涼感のあるホワイトプリントが組み合わせれています。インデックスは上面に鏡面とヘアライン仕上げで切り替えたコストをかけた形状です。ペンシルハンドはクラシカルで、センターにブラックプリントを配しています。ムーブメントは自動巻きの時代に入って久しい、薄型の手巻きCal.601を搭載。OMEGAの時計は精度もさることながら、オーバークオリティともいえる、部品の造りや耐久性などが、現代の時計作りとは大きく異なる魅力です。

ドレスウォッチですので、コンディションはより厳正に判断しますが、とても綺麗な状態です。ケースは変な痩せが見られず、ラグは上面の小さな面が均一に残っています。傷は一切見られませんので、シーンを選ばずにお使いいただけます。ダイヤルはブルーの色味をよく残した美しいコンディションです。厳正に判断しますと、3時方向に若干の経年変化が見られますが、肉眼ではまず気になりません。針やインデックスはパーフェクト。上面のメッキに剥がれがなく、キラキラと輝きを見せます。

ドレスウォッチは防水性能を当時から持ち合わせていないため、コンディションの良いものを見つけることは年々難しくなっています。機械式時計最盛期に作られた状態の良いなヴィンテージオメガをリーズナブルな価格で楽しめます。

＜Geneve（ジュネーブ）＞シリーズは、コンステレーション、デビル、スピードマスター、シーマスターなどのシリーズの中でエントリーモデルとして登場。エントリーモデルとはいえ、発売当時の国産機械式時計などと比べるとはるかに高性能で、高価な時計でした。デザイン性が高く、メンズ、レディス共に都会的でスタイリッシュなモデルが多いラインです。現在では生産されていないモデルのため、アンティークでしか味わえない魅力があります。

This Geneva timepiece, crafted in 1969, is a classic dress watch adorned with a distinctive blue dial. The blue dial, exhibiting a sense of innovation for its time, is paired with refreshing white prints. The indices feature a meticulously crafted design, alternating between a mirror finish and a hairline finish on the top surface, showcasing a shape that reflects a considered investment. The blue dial maintains a beautiful condition, retaining the richness of its color. A closer inspection may reveal slight aging around the 3 o'clock direction, but it is hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The hands and indices are perfect, and the top plating shows no signs of peeling, sparkling brilliantly.

As dress watches lacked waterproof capabilities from their inception, finding well-preserved pieces becomes increasingly challenging over the years. This vintage Omega, in excellent condition from the heyday of mechanical watches, allows for an enjoyable experience at a reasonable price.

BRAND

The Geneva series, including Constellation, De Ville, Speedmaster, Seamaster, among others, emerged as entry-level models within Omega's lineup. Despite being considered entry-level, these watches were far superior in performance and price compared to domestic mechanical watches of the time. The line features high design aesthetics, offering urban and stylish models for both men and women. As these models are no longer in production, they present a charm that can only be experienced through antique timepieces.
