ケース径31.5mmのオイスターロイヤルは、1940年代に主流だった30mm径から一回り大きくなっていますが、現代の基準ではミッドサイズに相当し、ヴィンテージらしい落ち着いた存在感を保っています。変わり種のダイヤルが多いロイヤルらしく、本個体はノンルミナス仕様で、アラビア・ドット・クサビを組み合わせたインデックス構成が印象的です。針はリーフ型、秒針にはテールドット付きのブルースチールが用いられており、外周には細やかな目盛りのチャプターリングが巡らされています。リューズにはねじ込み式ではないスーパーオイスターリューズを装備しています。

ケースには程よい使用感が見られるものの、目立つ傷はなく、全体のプロポーションは良好です。ダイヤルは均一にグレイッシュなトーンにエイジングしており、インデックス周囲の色味がわずかに薄くなっていることで、光を反射するインデックスの存在感が引き立っています。ブルースチール針の色抜けは見られず、全体のアクセントとして効いています。インデックスも艶やかに輝いており、視認性と装飾性のバランスが取れた表情を見せています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

True to the model's reputation for dial variety, this example features a non-luminous layout with a distinctive combination of Arabic numerals, dot, and wedge indexes. The hands are leaf-shaped, complemented by a blue steel seconds hand with a tail dot. A finely printed chapter ring encircles the dial, adding a subtle touch of technical detail. The crown is a “Super Oyster,” notable for its non-screw-down construction.

The case shows moderate signs of use but no major blemishes, maintaining well-proportioned lines throughout. The dial has aged evenly to a refined greyish tone, and the slightly lighter area around the indexes helps to accentuate their reflective presence. The blue steel hands remain vibrant in tone, acting as a striking visual accent. The applied indexes retain their sheen, achieving a tasteful balance between legibility and decorative appeal.
