COMMENT

ローマンナンバーが縦に整然と並んだ。通称“縦ローマ”ダイアルのマストタンクです。淡いマットホワイトの盤面に縦のギルトストライプが入った、マニッシュで潔いデザインです。ブルースチールの針とブルーのカボションリューズ、そして戦車のような形状のケースが名作タンクのアイデンティティーです。

ケースは未仕上げですが状態が良く、ガラスも傷が無く綺麗です。肉眼で気になるものではありませんが、文字盤はヴィンテージのカルティエによくみられるクラックがなく、美しいコンディションです。ベルトはクロコダイル製でタンク専用オリジナルのサイズのままに製作しております。カルティエ純正のバックルが装備されておりますので、そのオリジナル性をお楽しみ頂けます。

マストシリーズには＜vermeil（ヴェルメイユ）＞という、シルバーの上に厚く金を貼る加工技術が用いられ手間とコストがかかっているため高級感のある仕様。

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

The Must de Cartier Tank, featuring the so-called "vertical Roman" dial, showcases a striking design with neatly aligned Roman numerals. Its matte white dial, adorned with vertical gilt stripes, exudes a refined and masculine elegance. The blue-steel hands, signature blue cabochon crown, and the unmistakable tank-shaped case collectively embody the essence of this iconic model.

The case remains in excellent condition, appearing unpolished, which suggests minimal past use. The crystal is free from scratches, maintaining a pristine appearance. While vintage Cartier pieces often exhibit dial cracks, this particular example remains beautifully intact. The strap is crafted from crocodile leather, custom-made to the exact dimensions of the original Tank. Additionally, the watch retains its Cartier-signed buckle, preserving its authenticity.
