このキングセイコーは、1961年～1964年まで製造されていたキングセイコーの初代モデルです。当時ではロービートで高精度を出していた時計としても有名で、同時期に諏訪精工舎で製造されていた「グランドセイコー」に対抗して設計された時計です。このJ14102Eは金張りの個体がほとんどですが、こちらは希少なステンレススチール製を採用しています。
たくましい顔つきのSEIKO。それでいて夜光塗料の無いシルバーの冷淡な顔つきが独特の華やかさを持ちます。年を重ねても使える、良い相棒になってくれるでしょう。

This King Seiko is the first generation model produced from 1961 to 1964. Renowned for its low-beat movement and high accuracy for its time, it was designed to rival the "Grand Seiko" watches manufactured by Suwa Seikosha during the same period. While most J14102E models are gold-plated, this particular one is crafted from rare stainless steel.
With its robust appearance, this SEIKO exudes a unique charm with its silver dial devoid of luminous paint. It will undoubtedly become a reliable companion that remains usable even as time goes by.
