Ref.1505はオイスターパーペチュアルデイト 1500系統の中でも珍しいリファレンスです。ベゼルによって型番が変化するヴィンテージロレックスですが、1505はイエローゴールド製のエングレーブドベゼルを採用しています。ダイヤルはグレーの縦ヘアラインに、ゴールドの背の高いショートインデックスを採用しており、デイトジャストやデイデイトでは見られない1500系統専用のデザインです。長針と秒針も専用で、インデックスに干渉しないように、他の1500系に比べ短くなっています。ソリッドリンクのオイスターブレスレットRef.78350、エンドリンク557 Bが付属します。

ケースは目立つような大きな傷や打痕の少ない、素晴らしいプロポーションです。ダイヤルはミントコンディションです。インデックスにくすみは見られず、緊張感のある輝きを見せています。製造数の少ないダイヤルなだけに、コンディションの良さは大きなアドバンテージになります。ドットのトリチウムに欠けは見られず、理想的なベージュカラーです。弊社にて分解掃除済みで、パワーリザーブ48時間を確認しています。

エングレーブドベゼルは、デイトジャストRef.1603などではお馴染みですが、イエローゴールドのものは見慣れない、一眼で珍しいとわかるディテールが魅力です。デイトジャストやデイデイトにはない35mm径のサイズ感、スタンダートモデルでありながら希少なRef.1505は素晴らしい選択肢となっています。

COMMENT

Ref.1505 is a rare reference within the Oyster Perpetual Date 1500 series. While vintage Rolex models vary their model numbers based on the bezel, the 1505 features a yellow gold engraved bezel. The dial showcases vertical gray lines with tall gold short indexes, a design unique to the 1500 series and not found in Datejust or Day-Date models. The hour and seconds hands are also exclusive, shorter compared to other 1500 series to avoid interference with the indexes. It comes with a solid link Oyster bracelet Ref.78350 and end links 557 B.

The case is in excellent proportion with minimal noticeable scratches or marks. The dial is in mint condition, showing no discoloration on the indexes and radiating a vibrant shine. Due to its limited production, the pristine condition is a significant advantage. The tritium dots are intact, presenting an ideal beige color. It has been disassembled and cleaned by us, confirming a power reserve of 48 hours.

The engraved bezel, commonly seen in Datejust Ref.1603, but in yellow gold, adds an intriguing and distinctive detail. With its unique 35mm size not found in Datejust or Day-Date models, the rare Ref.1505 is an excellent choice.
