1960年代初頭から導入され始めたRef.1500。ロレックスにおいてフラッグシップモデルであるデイトジャストと同様のCal.1570を搭載した、ひとまわり小型なモデルです。Ref.1500は豊富なダイヤルバリエーションがあります。こちらはミニッツがインデックスと同様の長さにまで強調されたラジアルダイヤル。サンバースト仕上げのシルバーダイヤルに、さらに広がるような放射状のデザインが目を惹きます。クラシックなケース、ダイヤルカラーですが、読時性能を追求したかのようなデザインは、スポーツウォッチのような迫力を感じます。ブレスレットはロレックス純正、Ref.7835/357 巻きブレスを装備しています。

ケースは程よく使用されておりますが、プロポーションが良いためたくましいです。ダイヤルはパーフェクトです。気になるような劣化は見られず、サンレイ仕上げ、プリントの質感ともに当時のままです。ドットのルミナスや、針夜光は欠けが見られず、最高のベージュカラーを見せています。針やインデックスにくすみは見られず、鏡面仕上げにより美しく輝きます。希少なダイヤルなだけに、コンディションの良さは大きなポイントになります。

The radial design radiating from the center on the sunburst-finished silver dial is captivating. Despite its classic case and dial color, the design, seemingly focused on legibility, exudes a robustness reminiscent of sports watches.
