COMMENT

14金無垢のケースは、ころんとした丸みのあるフェイス。ブランドの独自性が表現された、個性的な表情が魅力のひとつ。モデル名のカメレオンという名の通り、好みのバンドに交換し易いのもポイントです。ダイアルは放射状のサテン仕上げで、シャンパンカラー。カットガラスも施されたエレガントな印象。オリジナルのブレスレットが付属するのはポイントが高いです。

ケースは傷のないクリアなコンディションです。ダイヤルはエイジングの影響を受けていないと言えるほど良好な状態です。針はブラックのプリントが施されており、小傷やくすみが一切見られず、整ったコンディションを保っています。また、インデックスも同様に傷のない素晴らしいコンディションです。ロゴのファセットが美しく輝いています。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

カメレオンの誕生は1950年代。裏蓋にベルトを通すための空間があり、そこにベルトを通すだけで簡単に交換できるようになっています。ロレックスは世界初の試みで特許を取得し、当時の広告に 「the only watch in the world with a WARDROBE（世界で唯一ワードローブを持つ時計）」と謳いました。

レディースロレックスを世に知らしめるきっかけとなった、歴史的アイコンウォッチ。第二次世界大戦が終結し、ニュールックスタイルなどレディースファッションに吹き込んだ新風に乗って、変化自在のカメレオンは当時の著名人に親しまれ、ヨーロッパを中心に女性に絶大な人気を博しました。1960年代にかけてのわずかな期間しか製造されなかったカメレオンは、現在では入手困難な希少品です。

COMMENT

The 14k solid gold case features a rounded, soft shape, giving the watch a unique and appealing look that reflects the brand's individuality. True to its name, "Chameleon," it is easy to swap bands, allowing you to personalize the watch. The dial is satin-finished with a radial pattern in a champagne color, exuding elegance with its cut glass. 

The case is in clear condition, free from any scratches. The dial remains in excellent condition, showing no signs of aging. The black-printed hands are pristine, with no visible wear or tarnishing, and the overall condition remains flawless. The indices are also in outstanding condition, and the faceted logo gleams beautifully. The watch has been fully serviced by our workshop.

The Chameleon was introduced in the 1950s. The case features a space in the back for a strap to be easily swapped out, a unique and innovative feature for its time. Rolex patented this mechanism, and advertisements at the time proudly claimed, “the only watch in the world with a WARDROBE.”
