エクセルシオールパークの2カウンタークロノグラフ。自社で製造した機械をZENITHやGALLETなどに供給していた信頼の高いメーカーです。中でも有名なCal.4を搭載しています。ムーブメントの特徴として、大きなテンプを備えているのは、精度のためです。慣性モーメントが大きいためクロノのON,OFFで起きるトルク変動に対応できる安定感があります。また、テンプの上に大きく張り出したクラッチホイールが見応えがあります。この配置は伝説的なOMEGAのキャリバー「33.3」にも採用されています。

ケースは37ミリ径、スクリューバック構造で迫力満点です。艶のあるブラックミラーダイアルで、メーカーロゴ以外の印字は全て下地出し製法を採用しています。ルミナスのアラビアンインデックスの下にも下地が確認できます。インダイアルはレコード盤のような精緻な溝を配しています。ミニッツは5秒ごとに数字をデザインしており、素早く正確な計測を可能にしています。

A remarkable 2-counter chronograph from Excelsior Park, a highly regarded manufacturer that supplied movements to ZENITH, GALLET, and others. It houses the renowned Cal.4, known for its large balance wheel to enhance accuracy, providing stability by accommodating torque variations during the chronograph's ON and OFF phases. The prominently extended clutch wheel above the balance wheel adds visual appeal, a configuration also found in the legendary OMEGA caliber "33.3."

The 37mm case, with a screw-down back, exudes a commanding presence. The glossy black mirror dial, except for the manufacturer's logo, features all imprints using an underlying process. Even beneath the luminescent Arabic indexes, the underlying layer is visible. The sub-dials are adorned with intricate grooves reminiscent of a vinyl record, and the minutes are designed with numbers every 5 seconds, allowing swift and precise measurements.

While the case displays scattered minor scratches, it maintains its proportions, and the facets on the three lugs follow the design language of that era. The black mirror dial, aged over time, presents an impressive patina. The underlying layer has become more apparent, lending a slightly brownish tint. The cream-colored luminescent material shows no traces of past water exposure, showcasing a natural and captivating transformation. The hands exhibit no signs of deterioration, and the white color ensures easy readability.
