入手困難なムーブメント、EXCLSIOR PARKの機械を搭載した圧巻の一本。三面ラグのコンディションが大変美しく、エイジングによる状態は自然な仕上がりで違和感がない。時針のデザインとスモールセコンドは共にシャープな造りでスマートな印象。インデックスのデザインはユニークで特に数字の４が可愛らしい。

BRAND

クロノグラフの名門。GALLETといえばクロノグラフのイメージが強く、1910年代から20年代にかけてワンプッシュ・クロノグラフを開発している。設立は1862年、ジュリアン・ギャレットによってスイスのラ・ショー・ド・フォンの地に＜ジュリアン・ギャレット社＞が。1883年には、息子のレオンに経営が託され、工場を＜レオン・ギャレット＞に。一方アメリカへの進出も早く、1864年になると子会社設立へ。クロノグラフはアメリカ海軍航空隊に供給され、40年代から50年代にかけてスイス空軍にも採用されるなど、長きにわたりパイロットたちの高い信頼も集めてきた。

This remarkable timepiece boasts the rare EXCELSIOR PARK movement, making it a coveted find. The condition of the three-piece lugs is exceptionally beautiful, with a natural aging process that presents without any discordance. Both the design of the hour hand and the small seconds subdial exhibit sharp craftsmanship, leaving a sleek impression. The index design is unique, with the number 4 being particularly charming.

BRAND

Renowned for chronographs, GALLET has been associated with the epitome of chronograph craftsmanship. Since the 1910s to the 1920s, GALLET has been pioneering the development of one-push chronographs. Established in 1862 by Julian Gallet in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the company later passed on to his son Leon Gallet in 1883, who operated under the name Leon Gallet. Their expansion into the United States began early, with the establishment of a subsidiary in 1864. Their chronographs were supplied to the US Navy aviation corps and were adopted by the Swiss Air Force from the 1940s to the 1950s, earning high trust from pilots over the years.
