1932年から1938年まで製造されたレクタングルキャリバーcal. 20。当時の高級素材STAYBRITEのケースに収められています。文字盤は直線のみで構成されたアールデコ仕様で、ギルトのツートーンは視認性の良さと最先端ファッションを兼ね備えています。

staybriteとは、錆びることなく輝き（bright）を留める（stay）から由来しています。少しマットな光沢が特徴です。スチールにカーボンとクロムを加えることで誕生した素材。クロムを加えることによって酸化クロムによる被膜が形成され、サビの進行を食い止めます。

COMMENT

STAYBRITE derives its name from its ability to retain brightness without rusting. It boasts a slightly matte sheen and was born from adding carbon and chromium to steel. The addition of chromium forms a chromium oxide film, preventing the progression of rust.
