機械式時計最盛期、1970年製のデイトジャストです。18金無垢のしなやかなオイスターケースは、金の塊から削り出したかのようなラグジュアリーなフォルムです。デイデイトと同様のラグの根の内側が盛り上がっている形状を採用しています。このリファレンス1607は、バーク仕上げのベゼルとブレスレットのセンターリンクを特徴としています。ダイヤルはゴールドのサンレイ仕上げ。夜光無しモデルで、段付きのダイヤル、アプライドのインデックスによる立体造形が美しいです。インデックスは上面が艶消し仕上げで、両端が鏡面仕上げとなっています。1607純正のバークブレスレット、クラスプデイト72/4が付属します。

This Datejust, crafted in 1970 during the heyday of mechanical watches, boasts an 18k solid gold Oyster case. Its luxurious form appears as though carved from a solid block of gold, akin to the Day-Date, featuring the same raised lugs at the roots. The reference 1607 is characterized by its bark-finished bezel and bracelet center links. The dial has a gold sunray finish, devoid of lume, with a stepped design and applied indices that add a beautiful three-dimensional effect. The indices are matte on the top surface with mirror-finished edges. It comes with the original bark bracelet, clasp dated 72/4.

The case has minimal wear, maintaining a thick, well-proportioned shape. The hallmarks and 18k stamp on the back of the lugs are clearly visible, indicating excellent preservation. The dial is in perfect condition, with no noticeable flaws even under high magnification, maintaining its original hairline finish. The hands and indices shine beautifully with their mirror finish.
