ユニバーサルジュネーブの旗艦モデルであるポールルーター。ポールルーターといえば、ツイストラグにインナーリングを備えたダイヤルが有名な意匠ですが、Ref.20375は薄型のラウンドモデルで、スクリューバックとシンプルながら実用性に富んだスペックを誇ります。ダイヤルはブラックミラー仕上げで、ギルトのレターが美しく映えます。針はドーフィン針とバーインデックスでシンプルなデザイン。12時位置のロゴはアプライドで鏡面仕上げとなっています。ムーブメントにはCal.215-9が搭載されており、マイクローターが特徴の自社製ムーブメントです。

ダイヤルはエイジングによって独自の表情を持ち、ヴィンテージならではの魅力が存分に引き出されています。経年よって下地が見え隠れし、星屑のようなブラウンカラーを全体に見せています。針は先端にメッキの剥がれが見られ、味わい深い状態に仕上がっています。インデックスは光を受けて輝き、素晴らしい状態を保っています。ケースは傷が少なく、非常にクリアなコンディションです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

ポールルーターの始まりは、SAS（スカンジナビア航空） が耐磁性を備えた堅牢な時計の製作を、ユニバーサル・ジュネーブへ依頼したことからでした。当時SASが計画していた、北極を超える 2600 km の先駆的な飛行を称えるために、その名がつけられました。どこかエレガントでありながら、ツールウォッチのルーツを持っています。

BRAND

ユニバーサル・ジュネーブの歴史は二人の時計師、エミーユ・デコームとジョルジュ・ペレによって1894年スイスで創業されたところから始まる。高級感溢れるデザインウォッチや複雑時計の製造を得意とし、クロノグラフの名品＜コンパックス＞を開発したことで、その名を時計史に刻んだ名門のブランド。

The Universal Genève Polerouter, a flagship model of the brand, is renowned for its classic design featuring twisted lugs and an inner ring. The Ref. 20375, however, stands out with its sleek round case, emphasizing practicality with its screw-back construction. The black mirror-finished dial, accented by gilt lettering, offers a sophisticated contrast, blending elegance with timeless charm. Dauphine hands and bar indexes contribute to its refined simplicity, while the applied mirror-finished logo at 12 o’clock adds a touch of luxury. Powered by the in-house Cal. 215-9 micro-rotor movement, this watch combines thinness with exceptional performance.

The dial’s aging has given it a unique character, with a brownish, starlike pattern emerging over time, showcasing the charm of vintage timepieces. The hands exhibit slight plating wear at the tips, adding to its vintage appeal, while the indexes remain in excellent condition, catching light beautifully. The case is well-preserved with minimal wear, maintaining a clean and impressive overall appearance. This timepiece has been fully serviced by our in-house team.

The Polerouter originated from a request by SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) for a durable, anti-magnetic watch to commemorate their pioneering 2,600 km transpolar flight over the Arctic. This blend of elegance and tool-watch roots defines its unique allure.
