ミッドセンチュリーデザインのオメガ。18金無垢のケースは豪華なファンシーラグと幅広なスムースベゼルが頑強かつラグジュアリーです。ダイヤルはこの世代としては先駆的な、シルバーのサンレイ仕上げで爽やかな印象です。アルファハンドとバーインデックスの組み合わせで、夜光無しモデルのためすっきりとしています。スモールセコンドは一段下がり、レコード盤のような精緻な造りをしています。

1940年代から1950年代にかけて製造されたオメガの自動巻きムーブメントCal.342を搭載。全回転のムーブメントが登場するまで主流であった半回転（ハーフローター）式、通称「バンパー」。手巻きから自動巻きへの変遷を感じさせる面白いキャリバーで、コツコツと腕に振動を感じます。ヴィンテージ機械式時計の実感を持てる機械です。

ケースは素晴らしいプロポーションで、ベゼルにエッジが残り良い雰囲気です。ダイヤルは焼けの少ない希少なコンディションです。針とインデックスは状態が良く、よく光ります。弊社で分解掃除済みですので、安心してご使用いただけます。

コンステレーション登場以前の、シーマスターよりドレッシーなラインとして登場したノーネームモデルです。デザインは同世代の雲上ブランドやセンテナリーの影響も感じられます。オメガでは1950年代から積極的にセンターセコンドを採用していったので、このシンプルなダイヤルレイアウトにクラシックなスモールセコンドは珍しいですね。

腕時計が普及し始めた1910年代から手巻き、自動巻と変遷を経て、クオーツ時計の開発によって機械式時計が衰退します。それ以前の1960年代に機械式腕時計はひとつのピークに達します。当時は日本でも三種の神器の一つだったオメガの時計。持つ人のステータスとなる高級品で、各メーカーが精度や防水性、耐久性など切磋琢磨し開発した時代。コストをかけて、より良い時計造りのためにしのぎを削っていました。

A mid-century design Omega. The 18-carat solid gold case is both robust and luxurious, featuring elegant fancy lugs and a broad smooth bezel. The dial has a refreshing silver sunray finish. The combination of alpha hands and bar indices gives a clean appearance, as this model does not have luminous markers. The small seconds subdial is slightly recessed and crafted with a precise, record-like design.

This watch is powered by the Omega Cal. 342 automatic movement, produced between the 1940s and 1950s. This calibre features a bumper (half-rotor) automatic system, which was prevalent before the advent of full-rotor movements. The transition from manual to automatic winding is palpable with this fascinating calibre, providing a tactile bumping sensation on the wrist. It offers an authentic vintage mechanical watch experience.

The case maintains excellent proportions, with the bezel edges intact, giving it a refined look. The dial is in rare, well-preserved condition with minimal patina. The hands and indices are in good condition and have a bright appearance. The watch has been serviced by our company, ensuring you can use it with confidence.

This is a no-name model, more dressy than the Seamaster, introduced before the Constellation series. It also reflects influences from top-tier brands and the Centenary series of the same era. From the 1950s onwards, Omega began to favour centre seconds hands, making this simple dial design with a classic small seconds feature quite rare.
