洗練された印象を受ける樽型Cラインのケースは、ジェラルド・ジェンタがデザインを手がけ、1970年前後によく見られました。後期型のガラス型風防に比べ、前期型のドーム型風防で、ヴィンテージテイストが堪能できます。 ケースはステンレスに厚く金を被せたゴールドトップ。細かく施されたフルーテッドベゼルはラグジュアリー感が強く、オメガのハイエンドモデルらしい佇まいです。ダイヤルはサンバースト仕上げのシルバーダイヤル。バーインデックスのセンター位置と、ペンシルハンドはブラックの塗装が施されており、読時性に優れています。ブレスレットは希少な金張りのRef.1040、エンドリンク518です。搭載ムーブメントは名機クロノメーターCal.751。2段引きでの日付の早送りが行え、曜日は針を回して設定します。

The tonneau-shaped C-line case, designed by Gérald Genta, exudes a refined impression and was commonly seen around the 1970s. This early model features a domed crystal, offering a vintage flair compared to the later flat crystal versions. The case is a gold cap over stainless steel, giving it a luxurious feel characteristic of Omega's high-end models. The finely crafted fluted bezel enhances its opulent appearance. The dial is a sunburst silver finish, with black-painted centre bar indices and pencil hands, ensuring excellent legibility. The bracelet is the rare gold-capped Ref. 1040 with end links 518. It houses the renowned chronometer movement Cal. 751, featuring a quickset date mechanism and a day setting via hand rotation.

The watch is in mint condition, showing no signs of wear. The case retains its original finish from the time of sale, with the polished chamfers on the lug edges still intact. The dial's silver colour remains fresh with minimal patina. The delicate light reflections from the fluted bezel add to its high-end aesthetic. The black print on the indices and hands, as well as the polished finish, are free from degradation, maintaining their original state.
