1950年代初期、オメガの黄金期を象徴する時計です。37mmに達しようかというジャンボサイズと言っても差し支えないケースで、ティアドロップラグとの連なりは50年代を偲ばせます。ダイヤルはホワイトで、繊細な縦方向のヘアライン仕上げが確認できます。1つ飛びに配されたアラビアインデックスはフチ取りされたギルトとなっており、アプライドの楔インデックスとの対比が図られています。ミニッツトラックの内側は、針がランニングするだけの余白となっており、大きなダイヤルを最大限に生かしたデザインとなっています。

ムーブメントはバンパー式自動巻きのCal.354を搭載。手巻から自動巻きへの変遷を感じさせる面白いキャリバーで、コツコツと腕に振動を感じます。ヴィンテージ機械式時計の実感を持てる機械です。

過去のオーナーが大切に扱っていたのがわかる、良いコンディションです。ケースは小傷のみで、ラグのエッジが立っています。傷が目立ちやすい鏡面ベゼルは艶があります。汚れが目立ちやすいホワイトダイヤルですが、エイジングが少なく現存しています。この年式でここまで良いコンディションのダイヤルは稀有です。インデックスとアプライドのΩロゴは、文句の付け所がありません。針はくすみのないミントコンディションです。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

This watch symbolises Omega's golden age in the early 1950s. The case, which could be described as jumbo-sized at nearly 37mm, coupled with teardrop lugs, is reminiscent of the '50s. The dial is white, with a delicate vertical hairline finish visible. Arabic numerals, placed at every other hour, are gilt with borders, contrasting with applied wedge indices. Inside the minute track is a blank space where only the hands run, maximising the design of the large dial.

It's equipped with the Cal.354 bumper automatic movement. This interesting calibre reflects the transition from manual to automatic winding, and you can feel a slight vibration on your wrist. It's a mechanism that gives you a real sense of a vintage mechanical timepiece.

The watch is in good condition, showing that previous owners have treated it with care. The case has only minor scratches, with crisp lug edges. The polished bezel, prone to noticeable scratches, retains its shine. The white dial, which easily shows dirt, has minimal ageing and is well-preserved. Dials in such good condition for this era are rare. The indices and applied Ω logo are impeccable. The hands are in mint condition without any tarnishing. Our company has serviced it.
