COMMENT

ローマンナンバーが縦に整然と並んだ。通称“縦ローマ”ダイアルのマストタンクです。淡いマットホワイトの盤面に縦のギルトストライプが入った、マニッシュで潔いデザインです。ブルースチールの針とブルーのカボションリューズ、そして戦車のような形状のケースが名作タンクのアイデンティティーです。

ケースは当店で新品仕上げを行っておりますので、ガラスも含めて傷が無く綺麗です。ベルトはクロコダイル製でタンク専用オリジナルのサイズのままに製作しております。カルティエ純正のバックルが装備されておりますので、そのオリジナル性をお楽しみ頂けます。また当時の純正革ベルトが付属しております。

マストシリーズには＜vermeil（ヴェルメイユ）＞という、シルバーの上に厚く金を貼る加工技術が用いられ手間とコストがかかっているため高級感のある仕様。

BRAND

現在では、ジュエラーとして名高いカルティエですが、まだ懐中時計が主流だった1904年に本格的な腕時計を製作したのはカルティエが最初でした。「タンク」という名前は、“戦車”を意味し、第一次世界大戦中の終結に貢献したといわれる、ルノー製の戦車がデザインの基となっています。その中でもマストシリーズは文字盤のバリエーションが豊富にあります。

COMMENT

This is the Must de Tank with the "vertical Roman" dial, characterized by Roman numerals neatly arranged in a vertical line. The design is clean and masculine, featuring a matte white face with vertical gilt stripes. The blue steel hands, blue cabochon crown, and tank-shaped case are iconic elements of the Tank design.

The case has been newly polished by our store, including the glass, so it is free of scratches and in pristine condition. The strap is made of crocodile leather and crafted to the original Tank specifications. It comes with an authentic Cartier buckle, enhancing its originality. Additionally, it includes the original leather strap from that time period.

The Must series uses the "vermeil" technique, which involves thickly plating silver with gold, giving it a luxurious finish that is both labor-intensive and costly.

BRAND

Cartier, now renowned as a jeweler, was the first to create a serious wristwatch in 1904 when pocket watches were still the norm. The name "Tank" refers to the design inspired by Renault tanks that contributed to the end of World War I. The Must series, in particular, offers a wide variety of dial designs.
