Ref.166.070は1960年代末から1970年代初頭にかけて製造されたOmega Genèveの自動巻きモデルです。搭載ムーブメントはCal.565で、オメガ最盛期の自動巻キャリバーの一つ。信頼性と精度に優れ、当時の日常使いにおいて高い実用性を実現していました。ケースは35mm径のステンレススチール製で、シリンダーケースと呼ばれる筒型のフォルムにストレートラグを組み合わせたオールドスタイル。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ仕上げで、針・インデックス・ラグともに直線的な造形で統一され、全体に端正で無駄のないデザインが際立っています。純正ブレスレットRef.1168にエンドリンク605が付属します。

ケースは傷のない素晴らしいコンディションで、シルエットは崩れず端正なラインを保っています。ラグのストレートな造形やケースサイドの仕上げもオリジナル性が感じられ、自然なエイジングがヴィンテージならではの風合いを添えています。ダイヤルは均一なシルバーの輝きを保ち、プリントやインデックスも鮮明。針も良好なコンディションを維持しており、全体にバランスの取れた状態です。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

The Omega Genève Ref.166.070 was produced from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. It houses the automatic Cal.565, one of Omega’s finest movements of the era. Renowned for its reliability and accuracy, it offered excellent practicality for daily wear at the time. The stainless steel case measures 35 mm and features the so-called “cylinder case” design, combining a tubular form with straight lugs in a classical style. The silver sunburst dial is paired with pencil hands and bar indexes, with all elements—including the lugs—executed in linear forms, creating a clean, understated aesthetic. The watch is fitted with its original bracelet Ref.1168 with end links 605.

The case remains in outstanding condition, free from notable scratches and preserving its sharp, well-defined silhouette. The straight lugs and side finishing display originality and integrity, while gentle natural ageing imparts vintage character. The dial retains an even silver radiance with crisp printing and indexes. The hands are similarly well-preserved, maintaining excellent balance throughout. Fully disassembled, cleaned, and serviced in-house.

Defined by its minimalist geometry and classical cylinder case, this model embodies a timeless elegance free of superfluous detail.
