1964年に登場したキングセイコーのセカンドモデル、Ref.44-9990。初代モデルから進化し、ハック機能の追加やスクリューバック構造の採用によって、防水性と実用性を大きく向上させたモデルです。シルバーのサンレイダイヤルにソリッドなバーインデックスとドーフィンハンドを組み合わせ、ノンデイト仕様によるシンメトリーなフェイスが際立ちます。

ケースは全体的に傷が少なく、ラグのファセットは明瞭に残っています。側面やラグ周辺に打痕が見られない良好な状態で、当時のフォルムをしっかりと維持しています。ダイヤルはわずかな変色が見られるものの、全体の印象を損なうものではなく、針は鏡面のような輝きを保っています。インデックスは一部に軽いサビが見られますが、気にならない程度に収まっています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

The King Seiko Ref.44-9990, introduced in 1964, represents the second generation of the line. Building on the success of the first model, it introduced hacking seconds and a screw-back case design, significantly improving both water resistance and daily usability. The silver sunray dial pairs solid bar indexes with dauphine hands, while the absence of a date display gives the watch a perfectly symmetrical, refined appearance.

The case shows minimal wear overall, with sharply defined facets along the lugs. There are no notable dings or marks on the case sides or lugs, and the original proportions remain beautifully preserved. The dial exhibits a faint degree of aging but retains a clean overall impression, while the hands maintain a mirror-like polish. Some indexes show minor oxidation, though it remains subtle and unobtrusive. Fully serviced by our watchmakers.
