通称“ペプシベゼル”と称される赤青ツートンの回転ベゼルに、深みのあるダークブルーダイヤルを合わせた初期型61クロノ。後期型とは異なり、リューズ収納部に切り欠きを備え、ダイヤルおよび裏蓋の防水表記は「WATER PROOF」となります。9時位置の“5”ロゴ、リューズを引かずに回転操作が可能なインナーベゼル、日本語／英語の2か国語曜日表示など、初期仕様ならではのディテールが随所に見られます。全体的に1970年代の造形美を色濃く体現しています。

ケースは軽度の使用感にとどまり、シルエットを損なわない整った状態を維持。赤青ベゼルは欠けが少なく、当時の発色と雰囲気を良好に保っています。ダイヤルはエイジングが抑えられ、やや黒みを帯びた落ち着いたトーンへと変化。針はわずかな経年のニュアンスが感じられますが、全体の印象は均整が取れています。夜光は落ち着いた印象に変化しておりヴィンテージ感を醸し出すコンディションです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

An early example of the 61 Chronograph, pairing the red-and-blue “Pepsi” rotating bezel with a deep dark blue dial. Unlike later versions, this model features the notch at the crown recess, and both dial and caseback are marked “WATER PROOF.” Details unique to the early specification include the “5” logo at 9 o’clock, an inner bezel operable without pulling the crown, and a bilingual day display in Japanese and English. The overall design vividly reflects the aesthetic character of the 1970s.

The case shows only light signs of use and retains a well-defined silhouette. The red-and-blue bezel remains largely intact, preserving its original tone and period atmosphere. The dial exhibits restrained aging, having developed a slightly darker, composed hue. The hands show minor signs of age, yet the overall balance remains harmonious.
