COMMENT

シンプルなスポーツテイストを突き詰めたトップタイム。初期のモノコックケースから、防水スナップバックへ移行した世代にあたります。ダイヤルはシルバーのサンレイ仕上げで、バーインデックスとバーハンドを基調とした端正なレイアウト。外周には「GRADUATION POUR 15 PULSATIONS」のパルスメーターを備え、計測器としての要素を静かに添えています。パンダ配色やビビッドな意匠が多いシリーズの中で、ここまで要素を削った表情は希少で、仕上げの良さやレイアウトの美しさがストレートに伝わる構成です。ムーブメントは手巻きクロノグラフのValjoux 7730を搭載します。

ケースは保管に伴う小キズが確認できますが、プロポーションの崩れは感じられません。太いラグが立体感を支え、外装の輪郭が印象を引き締めています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションで、サンレイの質感が均一に残っています。夜光は落ち着いたベージュへと変化し、全体のトーンと調和しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

This Top Time distills a clean, sport-oriented aesthetic to its essentials and belongs to the generation that transitioned from the early monocoque case to a water-resistant snap-back construction. The dial features a silver sunburst finish with a disciplined layout centered on bar indexes and straight baton hands. Along the outer edge, a pulsation scale marked “GRADUATION POUR 15 PULSATIONS” is subtly incorporated, adding a quiet note of instrument-like functionality. Within a series often defined by panda dials and vivid graphic elements, this pared-back expression is notably rare, allowing the quality of the finishing and the balance of the layout to speak directly. The watch is powered by the hand-wound Valjoux 7730 chronograph movement.

The case shows minor marks consistent with storage, though there is no sense of distortion in its overall proportions. The thick lugs provide a strong sense of volume, reinforcing the crisp presence of the exterior lines. The dial is in mint condition, with the sunburst texture preserved evenly across the surface. From an early stage, he foresaw the growth of aviation and committed to supporting the industry through the production of timepieces and instruments for aircraft. His vision was carried forward by his son Gaston Breitling, who made significant contributions to aviation history, including the development of the world’s first wrist-worn chronograph.
