CORUM Ref. 27538 pairs a coral dial with a lapis lazuli-set bezel. The warm orange hue of natural coral contrasts vividly with the deep blue of lapis lazuli, framed by 18K yellow gold. Diamonds set at the four corners add brilliance to the linear square case, lending a refined opulence to the composition. The dial is free of indexes, allowing the dauphine hands and the natural materials themselves to take center stage.
The case retains well-defined edges and presents in overall balanced condition. The coral dial shows no prominent cracks or significant damage, and the distinctive texture of the natural material remains clearly perceptible. The lapis lazuli exhibits an even tone, free from chips or notable scratches. The diamond settings are secure, and the watch is preserved in stable condition down to the finer details. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.
Powered by the manual-winding Cal. 2512, the movement sits within a slim 6.3mm case, giving the watch a light, jewelry-like presence on the wrist. The bold color sensibility characteristic of the 1970s, combined with CORUM’s expressive choice of materials, defines this piece. It stands not only as a timepiece, but as a clearly articulated work of wearable art.
