SEIKO PROFESSIONAL 300m Diver Ref.6215-7000。セイコーの希少モデル「プロフェッショナル300mダイバー」であり、“62ダイバー”の系譜に位置付けられる本格ダイバーズウォッチの初期型です。ステンレス製ワンピースケースにハードレックスガラス、ねじ込み式リューズを備え、高い防水性能を実現しています。両回転式ベゼルは小気味良い操作感を持ち、ブラックマットダイヤルは外周のミニッツトラックが一段高く設けられた立体構造となっています。ルミナスを縁取ったインデックスと針が独特の存在感を放ち、インデックスのフチには精緻なヘアライン仕上げが施されています。アウターベゼルは発売当時のカウントダウン仕様で、当時のウレタンベルトを装備した貴重な個体です。

ケースには保管に伴う小傷が見られますが、オリジナルのプロポーションを維持した良好なコンディションです。損傷が生じやすいアウターベゼルはブラックの色味を良好に保っています。ダイヤルはミントコンディションで、ゴールドプリントのレターにも劣化は見られません。インデックスのエイジングは最小限で、ルミナスは理想的なベージュカラーを呈しています。大変希少な当時のウレタンベルトは、実際のダイビングで使用されると硬化や癖が生じますが、本個体にはそれが見られません。弊社にてオーバーホール済みです。

クォーツショック直前、セイコーが持てる技術を結集して完成させた本作は、同社史上屈指の傑作として知られています。セイコーミュージアムにも展示される歴史的モデルであり、防水性を含めた堅牢な構造は当時のロレックス・サブマリーナを凌駕するスペックを誇りました。本プロフェッショナルダイバーは部品の外部供給が行われず、メーカー修理のみで対応されていた特殊なモデルです。そのため、実用機として使用された個体の多くは、ベゼルや針がサービスパーツに交換されています。フルオリジナルの状態を維持した本個体は、国産時計史における最重要ピースの一つといえるでしょう。

1960年代は、機械式腕時計は完成期とも言えるほどの発展を遂げた時期で、セイコーは精度コンクールの分野でも量産の分野でも、世界に追いつき、追いぬいた時代であった。同時に、「時計の電子化」が進展し、1969（昭和44）年12月にセイコーが世界初のクオーツ（水晶）腕時計を発売することにより、機械式腕時計からクオーツ腕時計へと大きく舵を切ろうとする時期でもあった。

Seiko Professional 300m Diver Ref. 6215-7000 is one of Seiko’s most coveted models, an early professional-grade diver positioned within the lineage of the legendary “62MAS.” Engineered for serious underwater use, it features a stainless steel monocoque case, Hardlex crystal, and a screw-down crown, ensuring exceptional water resistance. The bidirectional bezel operates with a satisfying tactile precision, while the matte black dial incorporates a raised outer minute track that enhances depth and legibility. Luminous hands and indexes, framed with delicate metal borders, project a distinctive presence, and the outer bezel retains its original countdown scale. Completing this rare configuration is the period-correct urethane strap supplied at the time of its release.

The case exhibits minor storage marks yet preserves its original proportions. The outer bezel, often susceptible to damage, retains its deep black tone. The dial remains in mint condition, with the gilt lettering free from deterioration. The indexes show minimal aging, and the luminous material has developed an ideal beige patina. The original urethane strap—typically prone to hardening or deformation from diving use—remains exceptionally well preserved. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.
