1970年代の5スポーツ スピードタイマー Ref.6139-7060です。自動巻きクロノグラフCal.6139Bを搭載し、中央のクロノグラフ秒針と6時位置の30分積算計、3時位置のデイデイト表示を備えています。曜日表示は日本語と英語の切り替え式です。ブルーグリーンの文字盤には縦方向のヘアライン仕上げを施し、ブラックの経過時間目盛りと、15分までを黄色で示した外周目盛りを組み合わせています。積算計にも同じ黄色を配し、文字盤の色調と呼応するアクセントにしています。

ケースやベゼルには使用に伴う線傷や小傷が見られますが、ラグの厚みとケースの立体的なフォルムを保っています。ブルーグリーンの文字盤は色調が鮮明で、縦方向の仕上げや各表示も明瞭です。半世紀を経たヴィンテージウォッチとして、文字盤の美しさが印象に残るコンディションです。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

Cal.6139は1969年に登場し、コラムホイールと垂直クラッチを採用した自動巻クロノグラフとして、セイコーのクロノグラフ史における重要なムーブメントです。 Ref.6139-7060は、その機構をスポーティーなケースと鮮やかな色彩でまとめたモデル。ブルーグリーン、ブラック、イエローが織りなすコントラストに、1970年代のスピードタイマーらしい機能的なデザインが表れています

This Seiko 5 Sports Speed-Timer Ref. 6139-7060 dates to the 1970s. It is powered by the automatic chronograph Cal. 6139B and features a central chronograph seconds hand, a 30-minute register at 6 o’clock, and a day-date display at 3 o’clock. The day can be set to either Japanese or English. The blue-green dial has a vertical brushed finish, complemented by a black elapsed-time scale and an outer track marked in yellow for the first 15 minutes. The same yellow accent appears on the register, creating a cohesive contrast with the dial.

The case and bezel show linear marks and minor scratches from use, while the lugs retain good thickness and the case preserves its dimensional form. The blue-green dial remains vivid, with the vertical finish and its various markings clearly defined. For a vintage watch more than half a century old, the condition of the dial is particularly attractive. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Introduced in 1969, the Cal. 6139 holds an important place in Seiko’s chronograph history as an automatic chronograph movement incorporating a column wheel and vertical clutch. Ref. 6139-7060 presents this mechanism in a sporting case with a vivid color scheme.
