COMMENT

Ref.2096、通称TVケースと呼ばれるスクエアフォルムを採用したモデルです。ケース素材は18Kイエローゴールド。丸みを帯びた四辺がテレビスクリーンを想起させる形状で、外周は緩やかに立ち上がるベゼル構成となっています。ダイヤルはきめ細かな粒子感を持つサンドブラスト調の仕上げで、均一なマットトーンが広がります。バーインデックスとバーハンドはいずれも中央にブラックラインが入り、視認性を高めた設計です。

ケースフォルムに大きな崩れはなく、面の張りが確認できます。ケースバックのヘアラインは自然に残っています。ダイヤルに変色や剥離は見られず、粒子感は均一です。インデックスと針のブラックプリントは鮮明で、メッキの劣化は確認できません。弊社にて分解掃除済みです。

COMMENT

Ref.2096 adopts the so-called “TV case” square form. Crafted in 18K yellow gold, the softly rounded four sides evoke the silhouette of a vintage television screen, while the bezel rises gently along the perimeter. The dial features a finely grained, sandblasted texture, presenting a uniform matte tone across its surface. Both the baton indexes and hands are accented with central black lines, enhancing legibility against the restrained backdrop.

The case retains its structural integrity, with well-defined planes and no significant distortion to the form. The hairline finish on the caseback remains naturally preserved. The dial shows no discoloration or peeling, and the granular texture is even throughout. The black printing on the indexes and hands remains crisp, with no visible plating deterioration. The 1970s marked a period in which geometric, assertive case designs—such as square and TV-screen forms—came to prominence.
