The Omega Seamaster Ref. 166.0209 is distinguished by its grey dial, finished with vertical brushing and paired with slender baton hands and applied baton indexes. A day-date display at three o’clock places the weekday and date side by side. The subdued grey tone works particularly well with the silver indexes, while the dial changes subtly in appearance depending on the angle of the light. Combined with a stainless-steel case and bracelet, it is a practical and well-balanced automatic Seamaster.

The case shows minor scratches from normal use, but remains in good condition with the contours around the lugs and the upper case edges still well defined. The dial is especially well preserved, with the grey tone and vertical brushing remaining clear and with no noticeable discoloration or significant damage. The hands and indexes retain a bright finish, while the lume at their tips has aged to an even and natural tone. Grey-dial vintage examples retaining such a clean and well-preserved face are not often encountered. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The restrained depth of the grey dial gives this model a character quite different from more familiar silver or black examples.
