OMEGA Seamaster 120 Ref.166.027

COMMENT

COMMENT

The "Seamaster 120" from the late 1960s exemplifies the era's style with its distinctive C-line case. While this model line includes a midsize version, this particular piece features a full-sized 37.0mm case. The bezel rotates smoothly in both directions without clicks, adding to its sleek and refined appearance. This diver model stands out with its clean form and balanced size. It comes with the original Omega bracelet Ref.1098 and end links 540.

The case showcases sharp edges on the sides, allowing one to appreciate the C-line's distinctive form. The bezel has aged gracefully to a slightly gray hue, adding a seasoned charm. Given that the outer bezel often shows significant wear, its good condition is a notable plus. The dial is well-preserved, with the tritium indices showing slight darkening. The watch has been fully serviced and boasts a power reserve of over 50 hours.

Despite its 120m water resistance, which marks it as a serious diver's watch, Omega's inclusion of this model as a skindiver highlights its versatility. The narrow bezel and the streamlined design set it apart from other diver models, making it exceptionally versatile. It pairs well with both suits and casual outfits, enhancing its popularity.
