1980年代に製造された、幾何学的な造形が印象的なオーデマ ピゲのドレスウォッチです。18Kホワイトゴールド製のケースと一体型ブレスレットには、鏡面仕上げと細かな彫金を交互に施し、光の反射に変化を持たせています。コブラを想起させる滑らかなケースラインに、サテン仕上げのシルバーダイヤルを組み合わせ、各時位置にはダイヤモンドインデックスを配置。時分針にもダイヤモンドを連続してセットしており、その厚みに対応するため、風防とダイヤルの間に十分なクリアランスを設けた専用構造が採用されています。

ケースには使用に伴う微細な傷が見られるものの、目立つ打痕はなく、18Kホワイトゴールドを示すホールマークも明瞭に残っています。シルバーダイヤルには目立つ変色や傷がなく、ダイヤモンドをセットした針とインデックスも良好な状態です。複雑に組み上げられたブレスレットは使用感が少なく、細かな彫金と鏡面仕上げの切り替えも鮮明です。しなやかな可動性と金無垢特有の重量感を保ち、ケースからブレスレットまで統一感のある状態を維持しています。弊社にて分解清掃済みです。

ムーブメントは薄型の手巻きCal.2080を搭載。21石仕様で、温度差、等時性、5姿勢での調整が施された高精度なキャリバーです。1980年代のオーデマ ピゲには、ロイヤル オークに代表されるラグジュアリースポーツとは異なる方向から、金細工と宝飾技術を追求したモデルが数多く存在しました。本作はケース、ダイヤル、針、ブレスレットを一体の造形としてまとめ、時計とジュエリーの境界を曖昧にした当時ならではの一本です。ホワイトゴールドとシルバーダイヤルを同系色で統一することで、ダイヤモンドの輝きを際立たせながら、落ち着いた印象に仕上げられています。

Produced in the 1980s, this Audemars Piguet dress watch is distinguished by its striking geometric form. The 18K white gold case and integrated bracelet alternate between polished surfaces and finely engraved sections, creating varied reflections in the light. Its smooth, cobra-like case profile is complemented by a satin-finished silver dial set with diamond indexes. The hour and minute hands are also set with a continuous row of diamonds, requiring a specially constructed case with ample clearance between the dial and crystal.

The case shows fine scratches from use but no notable dents, and the hallmarks indicating 18K white gold remain clearly defined. The silver dial is free from noticeable discoloration or damage, while the diamond-set hands and indexes remain in excellent condition. The intricately constructed bracelet shows little wear, with the transitions between the engraved and polished finishes still clearly preserved. It retains both its supple articulation and the reassuring weight of solid gold, presenting a consistent appearance from case to bracelet. Fully serviced by our watchmaker.

The watch is powered by the slim, manually wound Cal.2080. This 21-jewel movement was adjusted for temperature, isochronism, and five positions. Alongside the luxury sports watches represented by the Royal Oak, Audemars Piguet produced numerous models during the 1980s that explored goldsmithing and gem-setting from a distinctly different perspective. Here, the case, dial, hands, and bracelet are conceived as a unified composition, blurring the distinction between watch and jewellery in a manner characteristic of the period. The tonal combination of white gold and a silver dial gives the diamonds added definition while maintaining a composed overall appearance.
