人気のブラックギルトダイヤルを備えたコンステレーション。コインケースにストレートラグとデザインに遊びが現れ始めた頃の作品です。この世代ですと自動巻の性能が既に完成されていますから、それをアピールするように、リューズは小さくケースの中に隠れるようにデザインされています。文字盤はパイパンダイヤルではありませんが、中央が隆起した立体感のあるデザインです。クロスラインにドルフィンハンドの意匠はアンティークらしさを感じます。

クロノメータームーブCal.561は、カレンダー早送り(21時⇔1時の間針を往復させる)が付く、5ポジション（五姿勢および温度調整）の機械であり、歴代の500系オートマチック・ムーブメントを改良して高評価を残した機械。日常的に使い易い時計です。メンテナンスに関しても当店でも自信を持ってお付き合いさせて頂けます。初めてアンティークウォッチをお使いの方にもおすすめです。

この世代のオメガの機械は自動巻効率が優秀なため、手巻きを必要とする場合がほとんどありません。コンステレーションのオリジナル竜頭は、デザイン性を重視しています。手巻きし難いなど、マニュアルでの操作が重い感じますが、オリジナルの仕様であり、問題ありません。

This Constellation model features a popular black gilt dial, showcasing a design that emerged during the era when coin cases with straight lugs began to incorporate playful elements. In this generation, with automatic winding performance already perfected, the crown is designed to be small and concealed within the case to emphasize this feature. While the dial is not pie-pan, it exhibits a three-dimensional design with a raised center. The crosshairs and dauphine hands add an antique touch to the design.

The Chronometer movement Cal.561 is a highly regarded mechanism, featuring a quick-set calendar function (adjustable between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m.) and functioning in five positions (including temperature regulation). It is an improvement upon the previous 500 series automatic movements and offers exceptional usability for daily wear. The galaxy dial has undergone changes over time, resulting in a unique appearance that combines sophistication with subtlety. The gilt dial, also known as the gilt finish, utilizes a unique printing method for the dial. It highlights the reflective surface underneath the black paint, creating an effect where the characters appear to float. This technique is often employed on black mirror dials, known as black gilt dials, adding a distinctive atmosphere and rarity to the watch.

For watches of this generation, Omega's mechanisms boast excellent automatic winding efficiency, making manual winding unnecessary in most cases. The original crown of the Constellation prioritizes design aesthetics. While manual winding may feel slightly cumbersome, it is part of the original specification and does not pose any issues.
