4402-8000は、1961年に始まったキングセイコーの第二世代のモデルです。放射状に広がる文字盤のヘアライン仕上げは、クラシックモデルとして洗練されております。インデックスは切子面が多く表面処理が施されているため、光を当てるとどの角度からでも輝きます。ハック機能が付いており、日付の早送りと戻しの両合わせができるため、非常に使い勝手の良い機械です。

ケースの状態は、プロポーションが良く小傷すらあまり見られません。ケースバックの中央の金のメダリオンや、リューズの「SEIKO WATCH」を表すSWが綺麗に残っております。

The 4402-8000 represents the second generation model of King Seiko, starting in 1961. Its radial hairline finish dial exudes sophistication, making it a classic model. The indices, featuring multiple facets and surface treatments, gleam from every angle when hit by light. With its hacking function and the ability to quick-set both the date forward and backward, it's an incredibly user-friendly timepiece.

The case condition is exceptional, with excellent proportions and minimal signs of wear or scratches. The gold medallion at the center of the case back and the "SEIKO WATCH" marking on the crown remain beautifully preserved.

In the precision observation tests conducted in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, in 1968, Seiko was determined to possess the most accurate mechanical movements surpassing those of other manufacturers.
