ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL DATE Ref.1500 Black Matte Dial

COMMENT

HIGHLIGHT

Black Matte Dial

COMMENT

This is a Perpetual Date from 1969 with a black matte dial featuring silver printing. The dial design resembles the rough silver print seen on the same-era Milgauss Ref. 1019. The hands have two facets, and the indices switch between hairline and mirror finishes.

The Cal.1570 movement is a chronometer-grade movement. Produced from the mid-1960s to the late 1980s, it earned high praise as a masterpiece movement from Rolex, balancing accuracy and durability.

The case exhibits minor scratches but maintains an excellent proportion, exuding a vintage and dignified presence. The dial is flawless, showing no signs of scratches and maintaining a crisp appearance. There is no degradation observed on the silver print. The hands show slight aging, and the mirror finish reflects light beautifully. It has been serviced by our experts, confirming a power reserve of over 48 hours and a daily accuracy of plus 11 seconds.

This watch serves as an excellent daily wear, embodying a style that remains at the forefront of the times even today. Black dials have seen a significant surge in demand in recent years. This timepiece is sure to be a choice without regrets.
