OMEGA CONSTELLATION REF.168.005 Crossline

COMMENT

COMMENT

The Constellation, commonly known as "Dog Leg Lug" , stands out with its sharp edges. The dial features a silver sunburst pattern, and the cross lines on this reference are rare, indicating an earlier production. The indices, with black centers on three facets, enhance readability. The hour and minute hands are in the dauphine style, and the watch includes the practical date function. It comes equipped with the original Omega Jubilee bracelet.

The Chronometer Cal.561 is a 5-position (five positions and temperature-adjusted) movement with a calendar quickset feature (moving the hands back and forth between 9 PM and 3 AM). It's an improved version of the automatic movements from the 500 series, earning high praise. It's a user-friendly watch suitable for daily wear, and we have confidence in providing maintenance services. It is also recommended for those new to antique watches.

The case shows minimal signs of use, boasting a clean and well-maintained appearance. The mirror finish reflects light in various ways, creating different expressions. The dial is in beautiful condition, lacking any traces of water exposure and featuring a silky sunburst texture. Both hands and indices exhibit a bright and untarnished appearance. The original Jubilee bracelet has minimal stretch, offering a fresh and comfortable wearing experience. It has been disassembled and cleaned by us, and a power reserve of 48 hours has been confirmed.

The white-silver dial exudes cleanliness and a cool, crisp impression. When partially revealed from the shirt sleeve, it commands attention with its distinctive presence.
