PATEK PHILIPPE Ref.3781/1 Clous de Paris Case

COMMENT

COMMENT

The Ref. 3781 is a model produced in the 1970s, featuring an oval-shaped case and an integrated bracelet made of solid 18k white gold. Despite its slim profile, the watch has a substantial weight of approximately 94g, providing a reassuring sense of wear when placed on the wrist. The flexible mesh bracelet, resembling a sculpted block of gold, seamlessly integrates with the case, creating a magnificent and cohesive piece. The bezel showcases a pyramid-shaped "Côtes de Genève" finish, matching the bracelet. The dial has a refined silver texture, and the bar indexes also feature the same finish as the bezel. Being a σ dial, even the indexes are made of white gold.

The case is virtually untouched, showing no scratches or signs of wear, and retains its original finish from the time of production. The dial is in perfect condition, exhibiting no signs of discoloration or aging. The rare original bracelet also shows no signs of use. The watch has been disassembled and cleaned by our experts, confirming a power reserve of 44 hours and a daily deviation of approximately +10 seconds.

It is a delightful aspect that this Patek Philippe comes with its original bracelet, making it a truly collectible dress watch from the pinnacle of the mechanical watch era, influencing many brands during its heyday.
